Year 7 Summer Camp in Northumberland: A Celebration of Character and Curiosity
A few drops of rain couldn’t dampen the spirits of our intrepid Year 7 students!
Their summer camp in the stunning landscapes of Northumberland was a joyful blend of adventure, learning, and personal growth.
Day Two
On Day Two, students journeyed to the historic Hexham Abbey, where they explored centuries of history and architecture. It was a perfect opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences, all while enjoying the beauty of one of the region’s most iconic landmarks.
Last Day
But the highlight of the trip wasn’t just the activities—it was the students themselves. Their outstanding behaviour and respectful attitude left a lasting impression on the local community. One resident even placed a sign near the campsite that read:
“Thank you Gateshead. Best group on site this year.”
