The library is a warm and welcoming space at the heart of the school. The library has a wide range of fiction and non-fiction books which are added to every year to ensure the collection remains up-to-date. In addition, we have graphic novels, a well-being collection and a revision area with references copies of key study guides.
The library is staffed full-time and is open for students before and after school (Mon-Thurs) as well as during breaktime and at lunchtime for different year groups each day. The librarian is supported by a wonderful group of student librarians.
In addition to books, the library has computers and laptops for students to study and complete homework. We have two thriving book clubs as well as a very popular chess club. The library is also used for intervention sessions to support struggling readers.
