Gateshead League Silver Medallists
This week, the Y7 Girls Football team competed for the Gateshead League in a 7-A-Side Competition. The competition consisted of a round robin format against 6 other schools. The rules dictated if leading my three goals the opposition gets to play an 8th player, and if leading by five goals a 9th player is added. This meant our girls were outnumbered for three of our games and still took the win! Cardinal Hume delivered nothing short of exceptional; winning four and drawing two. The quality of play and attitude were absolutely top level!

We obtained a total of 16 points to achieve silver, missing out on gold by only one point!
Silver by result; gold in effort and teamwork! Proud is an understatement!
