Y10 sample university life
A group of year 10 pupils visited Newcastle University with Mrs Holywell, having been invited by the university’s Outreach team. They received information from Student Ambassadors about undergraduate courses, and career routes they could lead to.
Blessed with glorious sunshine, we took a guided tour of the university campus and marvelled at the beautiful architecture and flower lined quad. We finished the day with a fun workshop on budget management – our calculators worked hard! It was an inspiring and insightful day.
