World Book Day

Our whole school reader this year is The Hitchhiker by Anthony Horowitz. Students in Years 7–10 will experience the joy of reading a story in a single day, with each section read at the start of P1, P2, P3 and P6.

Additional activities include:

• The Masked Reader running all week.

• Sixth Form tutor activity: Would I Lie to You? Six slides describe a mix of real and fake non‑fiction books; the class decides which are real, and which are fake.

• Year 7 Mad Hatter’s Tea Party at 12:15pm for our top library borrowers and English stars.

We hope today brings a fantastic reading buzz across the school and encourages everyone to celebrate the joy of books!
