What a fantastic afternoon of tennis for our U15 squad away at Polam Hall School; a brilliant showcase of effort and talent from all involved – pursuing through all conditions… sunshine, winds and pouring rain!
Singles Highlights
Gaby secured a dominant 6-0 victory.
Jennifer followed with a confident 6-2 win.
Marian and Eliza both battled hard in competitive matches (6-4 / 6-2 L).
Gabik produced arguably the match of the day; an intense contest featuring a seventh deuce demonstrating outstanding determination and resilience (6-4 L).
Finley showed great performance throughout (6-3 L).
Hayden narrowly missed out despite multiple deuce games.
Doubles Results
Gaby & Jennifer: 7-5 win in a tight encounter.
Finley & Gabik: 7-5 win showing excellent teamwork.
Marian & Eliza: faced a strong pairing in a competitive match (6-2 L)
Decider Drama
With the girls level overall against Polam Hall, the match came down to a nail-biting elimination doubles knockout. Gaby and Marian stepped up under pressure; delivering a composed 10-6 victory to clinch the result.
