Five Bridges roundabout closure
Travel Update for Parents/Carers
Please be aware that the Five Bridges roundabout in Gateshead will be fully closed from 21 June to 16 July 2026 for demolition works.
This is expected to cause significant traffic disruption in the area.
Please allow extra time for journeys to and from school and consider alternative routes where possible.
