Introduction

Congratulations to our Sixth Form on another set of outstanding results.  Against a national picture of lower results nationally this year,  our students have once again improved on last year’s results,  with a remarkable 42% of grades at A and A*.     No fewer than 6 students attained all A* grades.    Over 95% of our students have already been confirmed in their preferred choices and we are delighted with exciting opportunities that await our students with over a third progressing to Russell Group Universities,  two entries to Cambridge University and other students opting for high-value vocational training and degree apprenticeships.

I would like to congratulate our students on their outstanding achievements. Despite the challenges presented by the pandemic, today they are duly receiving our Sixth Form’s strongest ever set of results. Particularly pleasing is the number of students achieving the highest grades, with almost half of their A Level grades at A* or A. Owing to the talent and endeavour of this group of young adults, they have been successful in securing top class university and apprenticeship placements. I wish them all the very best as they embark on their next steps.
