Laudato Si project
Thirty Year 12 John Paul 2 award students lead a stations of cross in St Peters Parish as part of their Laudato Si project. It was wonderful for them to have such a packed church of parishioners, staff and family to support them. They have been working for several weeks after school in their own time preparing the artwork and the prayers so it was a wonderful to celebrate this service with them.
Their commitment and faith really shone bright throughout the church and the message they shared really highlighted the importance of Pope Frances letter. They were amazing witnesses to our Catholic Faith, and so passionate and hopeful about the actions we need to take to protect and care for our world and all that lives in it.
We are so proud of them and all they shared.
