Developing young leaders with CAFOD

As part of their John Paul 2 award, 40 year 12 students have begun a six week CAFOD Young Leaders course. CAFOD is the Catholic Agency For Overseas Development. The course was launched by Kirstie Hutchinson, CAFOD’s Young Leadership Coordinator who gave an introduction to the projects students are going to lead during Lent. The plan is to embark on both The Big Lent Walk with KS3 and to host an annual school fair which will raise awareness and funds to support this amazing charity. This will be a fantastic opportunity for the students to develop skills to help in their learning and to equip them moving forward in their lives – all whilst helping others.

We will keep you updated over the coming weeks via our school twitter feed as to how you can help and support us on this exciting project.
