On Saturday 30th September, as part of our Sixth Form Personal Development offer this year, a group of Sixth Form students enjoyed a day out along Hadrian’s Wall in Northumberland. Along the way, we got to see the tragic destruction of Sycamore Gap where our students got to engage with park rangers on discussion about the future of the national landmark. Before heading home, our students got to enjoy an afternoon refreshment and a walk around ‘The Sill’, the new youth hostel and tourist information centre. Our next weekend trip away is on 2nd December to York for the Christmas markets.
