Celebrating Sixth Form Success
Cardinal Hume Catholic School is delighted to celebrate another excellent set of Sixth Form results, with students achieving some outstanding outcomes across both A Level and Technical qualifications. Once again the majority of grades at A level were B or above and the average grade in vocational subjects was a Distinction.
These results reflect the dedication, resilience and ambition of our students, who have worked tirelessly throughout their studies and have been rewarded with achievements of which they can be proud. Their success continues a tradition of academic excellence at Cardinal Hume. Headteacher Mr Robson commented:
“We are incredibly proud of our students and all that they have accomplished. Their results are a testament not only to their hard work and commitment, but also to the support they receive from our staff and families. Once again, our young people have demonstrated the talent, determination and character that make Cardinal Hume such a special community, and they have been justly rewarded today.”
Students will now progress to a wide range of impressive destinations, including leading universities across the country, highly competitive degree apprenticeships and rewarding employment opportunities. To name a few, James , who achieved 2 A*s and 2 As goes on to study Mathematics at Durham University, Leni, who achieved 1 A* and 3 As will be studying History of Art at the University of Cambridge and Ruby who attained all Distinction* grades is pursuing her studies in Adult Nursing.
Their success reflects the breadth of ambition and aspiration that characterises the Sixth Form.
As students prepare for the next chapter in their lives, the entire school community wishes them every success for the future. Mr Robson continued:
