Y11 Achievement Meeting for Parents : Wednesday 2nd October 6pm -7pm
As a school we recognise that this is a very important time for your son/daughter as they progress through Year 11 and continue the process of preparing for GCSE examinations. Your child will face many challenges, and meeting them will be crucial to your child’s long term academic and personal success.
In order to support you whilst you guide your child through the crucial months ahead, I would like to invite you into school on Wednesday 2nd October from 6pm to 7pm, where senior members of staff will address several key issues.
In this meeting we will:
- Give you important information about additional support and resources which may be available to your child.
- Discuss the systems the school has in place to stop under-achievement.
- Communicate how well your child is progressing, with a particular focus on their end of Year 10 examination grades.
A strong partnership of mutual support is essential to ensuring every child at Cardinal Hume achieves the best that s/he is capable of. By making you more aware of how the school operates at this important time, I hope that this meeting will strengthen partnership between home and school and therefore maximise the support that you are able to give us as we encourage your child to fulfil their potential.
I look forward to meeting you on October 2nd.
Mr B. Robson
Head of School
