The school’s outdoor club will be holding two residential visits in the summer term:
Friday 17th-Saturday 18th June – overnight camp in the Northern Lake District with outdoor adventure activities on both days. Cost: £45 (includes all transport, activities, accommodation and meals) This is currently open to pupils in Years 9, 10 and 12.
Monday 18th-Tuesday 19th July – overnight stay at an outdoor adventure centre with two days of outdoor activities. Cost: £55 (includes all transport, activities, accommodation and meals) This is currently open to pupils in Years 7 and 8.
Outdoor activities will include a range from the following: canoeing, kayaking, gorge walking, ghyll scrambling, cave/mine exploration, rock climbing, abseiling, hill-walking and outdoor survival/camp-craft.
