Dear Parents, Carers and Students,

We have carried out an additional risk assessment and have made the decision that Year 12 examinations will resume, as planned, on Tuesday 8th June.

To ensure we mitigate against the risk of transmission of Covid, please take note of the following:

  • Students should arrive in school no earlier than 10 minutes before their first examination and go directly to the Sixth Form Hall. Desks will be suitably distanced.
  • At the end of examinations, students are encouraged to go home to study and not return until their next examination.
  • However, it is completely understood that some students will have consecutive examinations, meaning home study will not be feasible at certain times. In these instances, students are welcome to revise in the Sixth Form study area.

Students will need to bring a packed lunch if they intend to stay in school between morning and afternoon sessions.

Masks must be worn at all times (apart from those who are exempt), during examinations and in other areas of the school.

Examinations postponed today, 7th June, will be rearranged to take place at the end of the assessment period.

The above arrangements are in place for this week and will be reviewed ahead of 14th June.

Many thanks for your patience and understanding.

Yours faithfully,

Mr. B. Robson
