Subject Information

This course leads to a Level 3 OCR National Certificate (=1 A Level) in Sport.

This course has lots of different aspects from practical elements, development of coaching skills to theoretical study of the sport industry. Students will visit lots of different venues and sporting industries to gain 'hands-on' experience of the world of sport.

Assessment
There are no exams.
Students are assessed on portfolio evidence presented for each unit.
This is internally assessed by teaching staff and externally moderated by a visiting Moderator.

OPPORTUNITIES

This qualification will give students access to University degree courses such as Sport Science, Sport Management or Sports Coaching or college courses and employment in similar areas.
