Health and Social Care - 6 units
Subject Information
This course leads to a Level 3 OCR National Certificate (=1 A level) in Health and Social Care. This would give them access to University courses and careers areas such as Nursing, Childcare, Care of the Elderly, Complementary Therapies or Social Services. Students will have the opportunity to visit and experience work placements in the different sectors involved in care.

| Assessment There are no exams. Students present evidence for each unit. This is internally assessed by subject staff then externally moderated by a visiting Moderator. |

OPPORTUNITIES
This qualification will allow students to enter University and College courses at a higher level or enter employment in their chosen field of health, social care or early years.
