Art and Design
SUBJECT INFORMATION AS AND A2 ART AND DESIGN O.C.R.
In Y12. AS: students study 2 units that allow them to investigate a range of methods, exploring a variety of media to produce a coursework portfolio that reflects their own interests. They will also investigate an artist who has influenced and inspired their work.
In Y13. A2: they will develop their interests further as part of a Specialist Project that reflects their own interests which is supported by a personal, written and illustrated study of about 3000 words In both years they will complete a Controlled Test.

OPPORTUNITIES
On completing this course students may choose to follow an Arts Foundation course before entering University or they may go straight into an Arts based degree course at University.
