Sixth Form Summer Festival

11th May 2016

Dear Parent/Guardian

I am delighted to inform you that your son/daughter has been invited to attend a 6th Form Festival run by the diocese on Monday 27th June.  Students will be expected to be in school at 8.30am from where they will be taken by bus to the Youth Village in Consett.

They will then attend a day featuring the brilliant Father Jim Eamonn Mulchahy, music from the brilliant `Gathering’, Bishop Seamus, Father Dermott Donnelly, a variety of games and a chance to mingle with other young people from our diocesan schools.

The cost is covered by the school and students will be provided with lunch, though there will also be stalls to purchase snacks from. The event will take place in a marquee but please keep an eye on the weather for appropriate clothing.

The event finishes at 4.30pm and students will then be brought back to Cardinal Hume Catholic School returning at approximately 5pm-5.30pm depending on traffic.  Parents are responsible for making arrangements for travelling home from school after the event.

If you have any further queries regarding the event please do not hesitate to contact me at the school on 0191 4877638 Ext 165.

Best regards

Mr Damian McCann

Director of Ethos
