Weight To Go.
A new club is available in our school. Our reporters investigated the new arrival by tracking down Mr Addison and sending him some questions about the club. Mr Addison himself is already a weightlifting enthusiast. His interest in the sport began when he accompanied a friend to the gym and was told that they were going to start weight training. From this his love of the sport began, and because he has gained so much enjoyment from the sport, why not show others the benefits? The club is open to members of the school who are committed and have a genuine interest in this sport. When our reporters spoke to those who have attended the club they responded with positive feedback. The new weights club for pupils, Sixth Form and Staff has seen a good uptake but we need to keep this up so that it can be given the best start possible. The days are as follows: Tuesday's after school: All ages welcome. Thursday after school: General strength and conditioning training for Sixth Form pupils and Staff. And don't forget girls, this is not just a sport for the boys!
