Welcome to Cardinal Hume Catholic School’s website.  Whatever your interest in the school, we're delighted that you are taking the time to learn a little more about us. Our mission statement underpins everything we do and achieve in this school.  We never forget that the person is at the heart of Christ’s teaching: This is why the promotion of the human person is and always will be the goal of this Catholic school. Our dedicated staff, supportive ethos and fantastic building and facilities enable us to provide an outstanding education which is academically rigorous and full of individual opportunities for students of all abilities, but is just as committed to moral and spiritual values. Cardinal Hume said shortly before he died: "If young people are to leave school fired with a wholesome moral vision and a sense of service, then it demands that an intelligent and critical moral awareness is cultivated and inspired by the teachers." Our school is a place of learning for enquiring minds who are constantly stimulated by their teachers and enjoy the challenges that learning can provide.

Catholic parents and parents from other faith traditions alike have chosen to send their children to Cardinal Hume Catholic School in increasing numbers because they want their children to attend an establishment with a robust spiritual and moral value system.
